New Coaching Certification Requirements
Softball BC will require NCCP certification for coaches across more classifications (divisions) and categories (levels) for the 2008 season. Teams must have an NCCP-certified coach on the field when they attend district playdown and provincial tournaments.
The minimum National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) levels required are shown in the following table (refer to Softball BC Special Operating Rule 12.5).

The NVGSA encourages all volunteer coaches to get training in order to become better coaches and to benefit their athletes and their teams. We will be trying to arrange clinics to ensure that all coaches have the opportunity to obtain the minimum level of certification they need for their team.
NOTE: The NVGSA will reimburse any coach the full cost of their NCCP training course once they've successfully obtained their NCCP certification.
