Hi everybody, we hope you've had a great summer! The North Vancouver Girls Softball Association is starting to prepare for the 2007 season, and we wanted to update you with important information for the fall including Rep Tryouts, Pitching Clinics, Provincial Results, & Volunteers Needed.

Banner Year At Provincials!

Congratulations to the Sun Devils (Pee Wee C - Gold), the 94 Stars (Squirt B - Gold) and the Avalanche (Squirt C - Bronze) for their outstanding results at their BC provincial championship tournaments in July. Here are the results from all of the teams which represented the NVGSA at provincials this year, including tournament reports from the teams and photos.

The NVGSA Needs You!

We have quite a few positions open on the Executive for next season. If you are passionate about softball and committed to making a difference in the lives of our young athletes, please step up and volunteer. We also need volunteers (especially players) who would be interested in attending community events as NVGSA ambassadors to talk to people about softball, do demonstrations, and hand out brochures.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

Please plan to attend the 2008 NVGSA AGM on June 26 at the Delbook Rec Centre. If you can not attend in person, please fill out a proxy and send it with someone who is attending to ensure we have quorum and can vote on the special resolution for the merger with West Vancouver.

Feedback Survey

End-of-season survey to gather feedback from players and parents in order to improve our association.

We have a new web site address & new contact email addresses based on the new domain name, "nsfastpitch.ca", which we registered for the merged association. Please update your web browser bookmarks & your email address books.
