You will need the following pieces of information in order to register:

1. Your daughter's Softball BC Lifetime Membership number, if she is over 10 years old and played last year;
2. Your daughter's BC CareCard;
3. A credit card for payment.

Your daughter's enjoyment, development and softball playing experience depends in large part on the volunteer efforts of the parents on each team. Please indicate on the registration form what volunteer role you can fill for either your daughter's team or at the association level. You can learn more about these roles on the Volunteers page in the Handbook section.

Fees

Unfortunately, we have had to increase fees this year due to the loss of a significant portion of our provincial government grant funds as well as an increase in sports field user fees charged by the municipalities.

Basic registration fee (which includes Softball BC and NV Rec Commission fees):

• Blastball (age 5**): $70.00
• Mini Mite (age 6-7*), Mite (age 8-9*): $140.00
• Squirt (age 10-11*), Pee Wee (age 12-13*): $150.00
• Bantam (age 14-15*), Midget (age 16-18*), Junior Ladies (age 19-22*): $160.00

** Age as of March 31 of the current season.
* Age as of January 1 of the current season.

Additional fee(s):

• Stars (Rep Team): add $75.00
• Supermites (Rep development): no additional fee, but Basic fee is for Squirt because team plays in higher division
  
• Softball BC Lifetime Membership: add $10.00 if player is Squirt age (10 years) or older & does not already have a Softball BC Lifetime Membership number (one-time only fee)
• Earlybird Discount: $10.00 if submitted by January 31
  
• Late Fee: $10.00 if submitted after February 28

Financial Assistance

Athletics For Kids (A4K) provides financial assistance to families who don't have the means to participate in amateur sports. The A4K mission is, "To work diligently and thoughtfully in providing needy youth in the community greater access to organized amateur sport in conjunction with their academic endeavours."

Refund Policy

• Full refunds on registration fees permitted prior to beginning of league play (on or around April 10);
• Refund of 50% permitted April 10 to April 30;
• No refunds permitted after April 30.
